As expected, “Avengers: Endgame” completely dominated the box office this weekend. Globally? It delivered a $1.2-billion opening...and broke more than a dozen recordsjust in its first five days… and we have the list.Here it is:

As for the rest of the top ten... “Captain Marvel” didn’t measure up to “Endgame,” of course, but still rose up the ranks for the second spot for its eighth week with a little more than $8-million. “The Curse Of La Llorona” is still scoring points for horror in the third spot, making $7-point-five million.
“Breakthrough” is also still going strong, making a little more than $6-million for its second week. And rounding out the top five is another superhero, “Shazam!,” with $5-point-five million.
