Mother’s Day is this Sunday (aka May 12th) and if you haven’t shopped for mom yet,time is running out. Fortunately, it’s not too late to get what a lot of moms want because these gifts can be pulled together at the last minute and mama will never know. According to a new survey from YouGov, the most popular presents moms really wants this Mother’s Day are flowers (9%), a gift certificate for a massage or spa day (9%) and a card (8%).
Their survey of just over 1,200 American mothers finds that the next most popular item mom would love to get for her special holiday is a day to herself (7%) to do anything she’d like.
Other top gift requests include a keepsake - like an engraved photo frame or personal item (6%), and having her partner or family take care of household tasks she normally does (5%). And on the flip side, the Mother’s Day presents she’s least likely to ask for this year are breakfast in bed (1%), electronics (1%) and household or kitchen items (1%).
