This past weekend marked the unofficial start of summer, which means families are going to be hitting theme parks in droves. So, what are the most popular theme parks out there?
Well, in case you missed it, Themed Entertainment Association and AECOM, which tracks and ranks attendance at theme parks around the world, just came out with their annual list of the Most-Visited Theme Parks in the World, and you probably won’t be too surprised by which park tops the list.
According to the report, Disney World’s Magic Kingdom was the most visited theme park last year, with 20.8 million visitors. Meanwhile, other Disney parks also did pretty well, with the Top Five U.S. theme parks all belonging to Disney, with over 157 million people visiting a Disney park somewhere in the world.
