Judge Scales Back Gun Regulations In State Parks

(Dover, DE)  --  A Superior Court judge is ruling against certain regulations on carrying guns in Delaware State parks.  The Delaware Supreme Court declared a ban on non-hunting firearms in state parks and forests unconstitutional last year.  DNREC responded with new regulations barring firearms in certain areas such as lodges and gathering spots within state parks or forests.  A Superior Court judge ruled last week that some of those regulations were unlawful, including restrictions on firearms in designated areas like camping grounds.
