Here’s some exciting news for “Hunger Games” fans. Suzanne Collins has another book coming out, a prequel due for release on May 19th, 2020… and that means another movie is on the way, too.
The book is set before the time of heroine Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence in the franchise. Collins has been heavily involved in the production of the “Hunger Games” films, and the same goes for this upcoming installment.
“As the proud home of the ‘Hunger Games’ movies, we can hardly wait for Suzanne’s next book to be published,” says Lionsgate honcho Michael Burns in a statement. “We’ve been communicating with her during the writing process and we look forward to continuing to work closely with her on the movie.”
