As we celebrate America's 243rd birthday, PBS will air its annual A Capitol Fourth special live from the West Lawn of the US Capitol. This American tradition has found legends and new comers of music, the stage and screen alike come together on July 4th to celebrate Independence Day.
This years lineup includes the timeless Carole King, Vanessa Carlton, Lee Brice, Greatest Showman's Keala Settle, Gone West (featuring Colbie Caillat) and American Idol champion Laine Hardy. Hosted by John Stamos, A Capitol Fourth 2019 will also feature a very special - and fun - performance by Sesame Street in honor of their 50th anniversary.
