On Tuesday, August 6, an open letter signed by more than 100 Victoria’s Secret models was released. Addressed directly to the lingerie-brand’s CEO, John Mehas and created by the Model Alliance, the letter urges the company to take actions to protect models and prevent abuse and sexual misconduct.
The Oscars did it, and now the Emmys will too. There will be no host at the ceremony honoring TV’s best next month.
Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier said Wednesday that going hostless allows more time to salute departing shows, including “Game of Thrones.”

The pop singer, 26, teased her new “Thank U, Next” perfume” on Tuesday with a first look at the bottle, which is shaped like a broken heart. Grande also revealed the scent’s release date: Aug. 18 at Ulta Beauty stores.
In May, Grande dropped a few details about the fragrance on Instagram,sharing that it smells “divine” and “like Ari [Grande’s first-ever fragrance] if she went to the beach one time.”
