Olivia Newton-John is dishing some behind-the-scenes details about âGrease.â The actress holding an auction benefiting cancer treatment next month in Beverly Hills, featuring 500 pieces of memorabilia⊠and each one has a special story.
Remember when Sandy made an epic comeback at the end of the movie in her smokinâ greaser outfit? Well, Newton-John has revealed that she had to be sewn into the black pants because the zipper was broken⊠and itâs still broken even as the pants hit the auction block!
Newton-John says it was sweltering in Los Angeles during the filming of the 1978 classic, which made filming that scene a drag. âIt was pretty comfortable except it was incredibly hot,â she adds. âThey were having a heat wave, so I obviously had to take this jacket off in between takes.â
