Family Find Owl In Their Christmas Tree - The holidays are a hoot so far for one metro Atlanta family.
Katie Newman says her 10-year-old daughter discovered an owl living inside their Christmas tree last week. There were several owl ornaments on the tree and the girl thought the real owl was one if them.
After leaving doors and windows open as escape routes for the bird, the family called for help. A representative with the Chattahoochee Nature Center checked the bird out and speculated it had been there since the Newman's bought the tree the weekend after Thanksgiving.
The bird was crated and released after dark.
