Daily DIY: Workspace for Homeschooling

Creating a learning space at home for kids is no easy task, but Lifehacker has a few tips on how to recreate a classroom-like environment to the best of your abilities. The key tool they recommend is a tri-fold foam presentation board, like the kinds used for science projects. Simply set it up around the perimeter of the desk to help block distractions and keep your kid focused. Outfit the space with a small desk lamp, pencil holder, calendar, and a hanging folder keeping work assignments in one place. You can even add motivational messages to the inside of the board for your child to read as they study and complete their work.
