Ariana Grande Sent Hundreds Of Pizzas To Floridians Waiting In Line To Vote

Ariana Grande made sure Florida voters were well fed while standing in line at the polls.

On Monday (October 19), the “7 Rings” singer linked up with Pizza to the Polls to send tons of pizza pies to Floridians waiting in line to vote. “Thank you @arianagrande for sending hundreds of pizzas today to people waiting in line in Florida! Keep showing up! 🙌” the organization tweeted along with sped-up footage capturing big crowds of people waiting in line to vote.

According to its website, Pizza to the Polls is a nonpartisan, nonprofit initiative that specializes in “making democracy delicious by delivering free food for all to polling places with long lines.”

Grande is incredibly passionate about getting people motivated to vote in the upcoming presidential election. The pop star — a native of Boca Raton, Florida — used her platform earlier this month to remind fellow Floridians to register early and encouraged them to make their voices heard.

“If you haven’t yet or if you know of a friend or family member that hasn’t, it’s imperative that you make sure they register today because Florida has the potential of swaying the election,” the “Thank U, Next” musician wrote at the time. (Arianators took heed, as the voter website she shouted out reportedly crashed following her PSA.)

She doubled down on raising awareness on voting in her home state by promising to release new music if fans registered early. The songbird kept her word, having teased her sixth studio album and launched a countdown to her new single, “Positions,” dropping this Friday (October 23).
