1. Earlier this week, Nick Cannon confirmed he's expecting his eighth child. The baby's mother is Bre Tiesi. In the wake of the announcement, Alyssa Scott, the mother of his seventh child, Zen - who died in December - offered a cryptic Insta post reflecting on "inner peace." During yesterday’s edition of “The Nick Cannon Show,” Nick led off by offering an apology for his ‘lack of sensitivity’ in celebrating his eighth child.

2. This year, February 4th is National Wear Red Day! Why Go Red? Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds. So “Wear Red Day,” which takes place on the first Friday in February, was created to raise awareness and fund the fight against heart disease and stroke. That’s because 80% of cardiac and stroke events can be prevented with education and action.

3. Be careful driving the roads tonight and into tomorrow. Rain is expected for most of today and into tonight, when the temperatures are supposed to dip in the teens and create ice on the roadways. Stay safe and watch out for black ice this afternoon.
