Thanks to a viral video by @daniellebeardon, the Internet is realizing that balloons are a lot dirtier than you think as her video shows a tub of water filled with balloons that looks really dirty once she removed the balloons.
People in the comments weren't too happy with realizing they've been putting their mouth on dirty balloons for years, which you can see below, but hopefully this gives you a heads up before your next birthday party or celebration.
If anything, it might be worth having someone else inflate your balloons instead because who wants to run out of breath because they tried to inflate one huge balloon?
