The annual Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party was missing a few faces this year after Khloe Kardashian was forced to skip the event for the first time in a long while and stay home for mom duty.

The Good American co-founder revealed on her Instagram Stories that she and her two kids — 6-year-old daughter True and 2-year-old son Tatum, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson — had to sit out on this year's low-key festivities after both of her little ones were sick in the lead up to the holidays, per Page Six. She later revealed that Tatum is feeling better and that True had a "scary" 105-degree fever but is starting to recover.

"Tatum was sick the entire weekend and now my TuTu is sick. For the first time in a long long time we will miss Christmas Eve," she explained. "I feel so terrible for my sick littles. No fun but I pray we are fine for Santa tomorrow!!!"

Luckily for the kids, Santa did in fact come to town and left behind plenty of presents for them to open on Christmas Day. After spending the night before Christmas watching Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and setting out milk and cookies for the big man himself, True and Tatum woke up to a message from "Santa" wishing them a Merry Christmas.

Kardashian also explained on her Instagram Stories that they delayed opening presents because True still wasn't up to it and they would instead dive into the gifts on Thursday now that she is feeling better.
