About the Brandywine Valley SPCA: The Brandywine Valley SPCA leads the way in no-kill open admission sheltering with progressive programs and services. Founded in 1929, the BVSPCA is the first open admission shelter in Pennsylvania to achieve no-kill status and serves as the only open admission shelter in both Chester and Delaware Counties. In Delaware, the BVSPCA is the largest animal welfare organization and the only no-kill open admission shelter, providing state-wide care for lost and found dogs. In 2018, the BVSPCA led Delaware to becoming the first no-kill state in the country. Visit them online: https://bvspca.org/
