The Brandywine Valley SPCA, in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society, Austin Pets Alive! and Wings of Rescue, welcomed shelter animals from the flood-ravaged areas of Texas on Monday. These animals were all in shelters and available for adoption prior to the flooding. The BVSPCA is asking for the community to support this lifesaving mission by adopting or donating to the care of these animals. Folks can adopt and animal to help make space, or they can find animals from the flight available at our West Chester, New Castle, Georgetown and New Jersey locations. To encourage more adoptions, BVSPCA is offering pick your price adoption fees for dogs (1yr+ and 40lbs+) and cats (6mos+) at all locations, thanks in part to Hill's Pet Health, through Sunday, July 26. Pick your price fees will be available at all campuses and special adoption events happening this week as part of PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week.
