More than 100 puppies were rescued by New York state police on Thursday after they spilled onto an interstate during an automobile crash. WHEC reports that Emily Woodrum of Missouri was speeding while driving the truckload of puppies to local pet stores and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to go up the shoulder of the road and overturn. Five of the puppies sustained minor injuries and were taken to Steuben County SPCA, where they will remain until they are returned to their owner out of state.
