Washington State Patrol recently arrested a 31-year-old driver whose blood-alcohol level was a whopping .480--six times over the legal limit of .80. No matter what a person's body weight is, a blood-alcohol content level of .350 is considered life-threatening. State troopers were responding to calls about a man driving erratically on a Seattle area freeway when they found him on the side of the road. He was asleep in his car with his foot on the break and the car running. The Shoreline resident was taken to a hospital for treatment and placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.
