Queen Elizabeth Marks Record 65 Years on the Throne


Queen Elizabeth II continued her reign as the longest-serving British monarch of all time on Monday, marking a record 65 years on the throne with a Sapphire Jubilee that was celebrated at various London locales with such tributes as a 41-gun salute. The AP reports that Elizabeth, who’s 90, surpassed Queen Victoria as Britain's longest-serving monarch in 2015.
