On Valentine’s Day in Fort Pierce, Florida, David Dixon ran a stop sign while driving a motorized lawnmower and collided with a Dodge Charger. But the 54-year-old didn’t merely swerve off his lawn: He told police he’d been using the moto-mower for transportation since getting his driver's license suspended. But little did Dixon realize that this isn’t legal. “It appeared Dixon was not aware that he could not use a motorized lawnmower as a mode of transportation with a suspended driver license,” an affidavit read. Ultimately, TC Palm reports that he was arrested for habitually driving with a suspended license.
