In what can only be described as the punniest news of the week, a tractor trailer driver in Pennsylvania littered all over a local highway on Tuesday morning...with actual litter. According to The Reading Eagle, the rig overturned on Route 222 in Spring Township around 2 a.m. when the driver failed to manage a curve in the road.
About 30,000 pounds of cat litter spilled all over the roadway, which took a cleaning crew about five hours to clean up as rainy weather caused many of the bags of litter to moisten and rupture. The driver, who was bringing his haul to a retail store, sustained minor injuries. In other words, cat-astrophe averted!
