One TV network is shifting its classic cartoons to streaming.
Time Warner's Turner and Warner Bros. say they are teaming up to launch a Boomerang video-subscription service in the spring. This is a big deal because the Hanna-Barbera, Looney Tunes and MGM animation libraries will, for the first time, be on a streaming platform.
That means “Bugs Bunny,” ” The Flintstones,” “The Jetsons,” and “Scooby-Doo” among other shows. Look for their “best of the best” to hit the service in time.
