Oops, she did it again! Pop star Britney Spears is now literally affecting world events, as The Guardian reports that an upcoming Labour Party election in Israel will be delayed by 24 hours so that it doesn't conflict with Spears' upcoming gig there.
Spears is set to perform in Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park for the first time ever on July 3, the same day the Labour Party was supposed to vote on its new leader. Instead, that vote will now take place on July 4. "The election date was delayed by one day due to the fact that there is a major event at Yarkon Park on July 3," the party said in a statement, never mentioning Spears by name.
Hey, if Britney wants to influence world events, that's her prerogative!
