A New Jersey teenager has gotten into all eight Ivy League schools: Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, Dartmouth, and Brown. Ifeoma White-Thorpe was shaking when she got the eighth letter. "I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, like this might be eight out of eight and I clicked it and it said 'Congratulations' and I was like oh my goodness!" she tells CNN affiliate WABC-TV.
The 17-year-old senior and student government president at Morris Hills High School hasn't decided which school she wants to go to, but plans on studying biology and pursuing a career in global health. She was motivated to apply to all of the Ivy Leave schools because they "have great research facilities." S
he's got other elite options, however, if she decides that an Ivy League school isn't really her style: White-Thorpe also got into Stanford.
