Americans Spent $16 Billion on Plastic Surgery Last Year

Here's some true "fake" news: Americans spent $16 billion dollars on  plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures in 2016. According to HealthDay  News, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons revealed the historically  high number in a new report. The most popular plastic surgery option?  Fake boobs. In fact, more than 290,000 breast augmentations were done in  the U.S. last year, costing an average of $3,700.

Liposuction, nose  reshaping and tummy tucks rounded out the most popular plastic surgeries  list. The most popular minimally invasive cosmetic procedures were  Botox, hyaluronic acid fillers, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and  laser treatments. Ah, to (pay to) be young again!
