As many get ready to dye eggs then scarf them down this weekend, here’s some good news.
You may have heard that you shouldn't eat eggs because they have too much cholesterol, but an Ohio dietitian says eggs may have unfairly gotten a bad reputation in the past. Kristin Kirkpatrick with the Cleveland Clinic says there is strong evidence that people can safely have one egg every day if they choose.
She says one of the benefits of eggs is that they have a vitamin called choline, which is an important part of a healthy diet. Kirkpatrick says eggs also have minerals like iodine and selenium, which can be difficult to find in the standard American diet. Source: MetroSource
