Lots of folks these days are loyal to certain brands. I mean, if not, would we really still be seeing so many iPhones in people’s hands? But which brands have the strongest consumer response?
Well, The Harris Poll just released their 29th annual EquiTrend Study, which rates brands in such industries as media, travel, financial, entertainment, restaurants and more. The report looks at three main factors when judging a brand’s equity, Familiarity, Quality and Purchase Consideration, and those with the highest levels were dubbed “Brands of the Yea.r”
Overall, 18 companies have earned “Brand of the Year” honors for the very first time, including Starbucks for Coffee & Quick Service Restaurant, American Airlines for Full Service Airline, FX Television Network for General Entertainment and Ben & Jerry’s for Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt.
