Meet Manny, a one-eyed cat who came to his owner Andrew's rescue by alerting him to a home intruder in Adelaide, Australia. According to Australia's 7, Manny let out several loud meows just before 6 a.m. as an intruder entered through the back door. "Manny sometimes wakes me up at that time to be fed, but it was not quite the same as if he was asking for food,"
Andrew explained. "The light in the dining room had been left on and when I came in, there was the intruder with his back to me. I asked him ‘what are you doing in my house?’ and he basically just walked straight past me and out the back door."
Andrew was able to write down the intruder's license plate number as he took off in his vehicle and police later arrested him. But the man credits his feisty feline (who lost his eye in a catfight) for saving the day. "Who needs a guard dog when you’ve got a cat?” he declared.
