When you head to the drugstore for health items, how do you know youâre buying the best product out there? Well, you could do a lot of research, or you could just check out âU.S. News & World Reportâsâ just-released list of the 2017 Top Recommended Health Products.
The list, made in conjunction with âPharmacy Times,â was compiled based on recommendations of thousands of pharmacists for more than 1,100 over-the-counter brands, representing over 163 product categories. Several of this yearâs top choices are repeat winners, although there are a few newcomers taking the top spots.
This year's top products include:

- Lip Balms â Carmex
- Upset Stomach â Pepto Bismol
- Acid Reducer â Prilosec OTC
- Multivitamins â Centrum
- Immune Support â Airborne
- Antibacterial Soap â Hibiclens
- Headache â Advil (New)
- Cough & Cold/Daytime â Dayquil (New)
- Children's Allergy â Children's Zyrtec Allergy Syrup (New)
- Teething Products â Anbesol Baby (New)
