"Game of Thrones" is now the most pirated show in television history.
An anti-piracy tech company ran the numbers and found last week's season seven premiere of the HBO show was illegally downloaded 15 million times in the U.S. and a staggering 90 million times worldwide.
That's bad news for HBO which spends around six million dollars on the show per episode. It’s also “backhanded” good news, since it means almost twice as many people are watching here than the 16 million HBO officially reported.
