Believe it or not, Labor Day weekend is just around the corner, which for most people means the unofficial end to summer. But it’s not over yet, and thanks to that final three-day weekend of the season there’s still time to get away. So, where's everyone going?
Well, according to Expedia, Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest travel weekends of the year, and judging by flight bookings, a lot of people are looking to spend it in a big city, with New York expected to be the busiest destination for holiday travel this year.

But if you think you can’t afford to go away, you may be surprised. The site reports that many popular destinations are less expensive this year as compared to last year, with Las Vegas seeing one of the biggest discounts, at about 10% cheaper than 2016. Other U.S. cities likely to be less expensive this year include Austin and Honolulu, while internationally there are deals to be had for travel to Reykjavik, Iceland (about 25% cheaper than last year), as well as Paris and Barcelona (about 10% cheaper).
