Metaliica, Logic, Halsey and Nirvana's Krist Novoselic are among the musicians who have signed on to participate in a new suicide prevention campaign. Rolling Stone reports that the mental health awareness and suicide prevention initiative is called "I'm Listening" and will include a live radio special from Seattle on September 10 in honor of World Suicide Prevention Day.
The campaign aims to end the stigma that surrounds discussions of mental health. "Depression, coupled with other factors, can be lethal," Novoselic says in a statement. "I'm pleased to be part of the I'm Listening campaign to help educate the community."
