Bill Cosby will head back into a Pennsylvania courtrom for a retrial in his sexual assault case on April 2, 2018. The Associated Press reports that after Cosby's first trial ended in June with a hung jury, the retrial had originally been set to take place in November 2017.
However, last month Judge Steven O'Neill granted a request for a new start date asked for by the comedian's new lawyers who wanted to get up to speed on the case. Cosby is charged with drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand in 2004 at his home near Philadelphia.
