Conspiracy theorists are predicting that the world will end on Saturday, September 23. Christian numerologist David Meade cites Biblical passages, as well as the recent solar eclipse and Hurricane Harvey as signs of the pending apocalypse. For example, Luke 21:25 reads, "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars.
On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken." Meade goes on to say that a rogue planet called Nibiru will pass Earth and cause volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and earthquakes. NASA, however, has been saying for years that Nibiru is a hoax. After all, it was originally supposed to collide with Earth in 2003--and well, we're still here.
