The Smithsonian Gets Goodies From “The Walking Dead”-Some scary stuff's being donated to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.
The museum received memorabilia from the hit AMC show "The Walking Dead" yesterday. A total of eight props from the show were given to the museum. Among them were character Daryl's crossbow and Michonne's katana, a type of Japanese sword used by samurais and and character Hershel Greene’s severed head.
The donation marked the show’s 100th episode. The museum’s collection also includes items from other shows that have shaped U.S. pop culture, including “Seinfeld,” “Mad Men,” “Breaking Bad” and “The Wonder Years.”Source: WTOP
