Do you know that chemicals in your medicine often make their way to the ocean after getting flushed from homes or medical facilities?
A new study from Portland State University shows sea creatures demonstrate riskier behavior and less concern for predators when exposed to the antidepressant. They also get themselves or other members of their species killed by picking fights. Crabs showed they were very prone to getting snatched up by predators after being exposed to the drug.
