Celebrating the New Year is different for everyone. There are those who just like to stay in and do nothing, others who just go out with friends, and then there are those who like to do it up right, with a fancy party or celebration. Well, if you’re in the ladder, it seems there are some cities where you’re bound to have a better time than others.
WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Best Places to Celebrate New Year’s Eve, looking at 100 of the biggest cities based on 25 key indicators in categories like Entertainment and Food, Costs and Safety and Accessibility.
Not surprising, New York City, where folks gather in Times Square to watch the ball drop, tops the list, ranking number one in food and entertainment, and six in safety and accessibility. Of course that good time isn’t going to come cheap, with NYC coming in at 99 for costs. On the flipside, North Las Vegas, Nevada is the worst place to celebrate NYE, landing at 94 for food and entertainment and 96 for costs.
