These days folks can’t function right without having the right apps on their phone, and while everyone’s needs are different, over the past year there are certain apps that seem to have grabbed the attention of most people.
iTunes has just released their annual list of the most downloaded free apps of the year, with the Bitmoji app jumping to the top spot. The app, which creates avatars to use in Snapchats and emails, wasn’t even in the Top Ten last year. Meanwhile, last year’s number one, Snapchat, falls to number two, but they can’t be too upset, considering both apps are owned by the same company, Snap Inc.
While this year’s list is made up of many familiar favorites, there is one new app that made it all the way to number 15, Wish, which lets people buy low-priced good from China. Meanwhile, Pokémon Go, which made the Top Ten last year, showed a significant loss in popularity. Not only did not not make the Top Ten for free apps, or it didn't make the Top Ten for free games either.
