If you've still got holiday shopping to do, you might want to hit the mall rather than order online. The Washington Post reports delayed deliveries have become a challenge this holiday season. Last week, UPS warned that some deliveries could be delayed by a day or two as employees worked extra hours to deal with an influx of holiday orders. UPS is the world's largest delivery company.
Pilots for DHL and Amazon Prime Air, however, also say they're dealing with delays. On Monday, UPS said last week's late deliveries had been resolved "after the initial cyber week surge." Nevertheless, some retailers are encouraging customers to buy online and pick up in the store.
