The Coast Guard spotted a debris field in the eastern Pacific and decided to check it out. That's when officials discovered a sea turtle trapped amongst packages of cocaine.
All in all, there were 26 packages of coke strung together, amounting to 800 kilos. The turtle had wire on its neck and fins and could have been trapped amongst the narcotics for a day or two. At this point, it's unclear where the drugs came from.
