A couple in North Carolina is celebrating a major win after thinking the phone message informing them of their one-million-dollar lottery prize was a prank.
Eddie Nations was in shock when he received the phone message, but after calling the North Carolina Education Lottery back he realized the win was a reality. He said he began crying and shaking in disbelief.
Nations, who was one of over a million other entries in the Extreme Millions Second-Chance drawing, opted to collect his winnings as a lump sum. He was given the option of receiving the prize in the form of annual payments, 50-thousand-dollars for 20 years, or a lump sum of 600-thousand-dollars. Source: Fox 8
