Following in the footsteps of Walmart, Starbucks has become the latest company to announce raises for its employees in the wake of the recent GOP tax overhaul. While Starbucks declined to specify exactly how much of a wage increase its employees will get, the AP notes that employees will be gifted at least $500 worth of stock and will now be able to earn paid sick time off. Furthermore, the company’s parental leave benefits will now include non-birth parents.
