Air Force One is in dire need of two new refrigerators, which The Boeing Company has been contracted to design and install by October 30, 2019. And just how much will those two fridges cost taxpayers? Nearly $24 million, reports The New York Times. In fairness, these aren’t just any refrigerators, as they’re required to store up to 3,000 meals in the event that the president and his aides are stuck aboard the plane during a prolonged national crisis.
