Jesus take the wheel! The News Enterprise reports that, on Saturday, 52-year-old Connie Lynn Allen was caught speeding in excess of 120 miles per hour on Interstate 65 near Elizabethtown, Kentucky. After initially refusing to pull over, the Tennessee resident was eventually confronted by cops after they broke her driver’s side window with a baton. At that point, she explained that God gave her permission to speed because she was the Mother Mary and was en route to pick up baby Jesus. She also told police she’d been dead for six years. In spite of these claims, police charged her with multiple felonies and threw her in jail on a $5,000 bond.
