A Virginia woman is three-million-dollars richer after barely beating a deadline to collect her lottery winnings. Ina Fernandez bought teh winning Mega Millions ticket last September, but didn't realize it was a winner until a month later. She then kept the ticket in her purse for another two months until she heard Virginia lottery officials announce the winner could expire this week. She claimed her winnings just days before it expired.
