An Arizona woman was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence on the way to her own wedding on Monday morning. FOX News reports that 32-year-old Amber Young was arrested and charged at roughly 10:30 a.m. after officers responded to calls of a three-car accident in Marana. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Young wore a white wedding gown and her hair in a low bun as she was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car.
Upon arriving at jail, the bride-to-be signed a criminal citation with a promise to appear in court at a later date and was released to her fiancé. Marana police say they have "no clue" whether the couple got married or not after Young's arrest. She did, however, end up with a wedding portrait when authorities tweeted a photo of her in handcuffs and captioned it, "Don’t drive impaired, till death do we part doesn’t need any help."
