Chik-Fil-A lovers, break out your cow costumes. Chik-Fil-A is  celebrating Cow Appreciation Day today, its largest annual customer  appreciation event, and are offering a free entrée (except salads) to  any customer who visits their restaurant dressed as a cow. Kids can also  receive a free Kid’s Meal for dressing up.

Whether you’re a fan of their Original Chicken Sandwich or just a  lover of free food, if you’ve got the stones to be dressed as a cow all  day, this can mean free breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Fans are also  encouraged to share pictures of their costumes on social media using the  hashtag #CowAppreciationDay, and visit local Chick-Fil-A restaurants to  make use of their active Cow Appreciation Day Snapchat filter.

Chik-Fil-A started celebrating Cow Appreciation Day in 2005, and last  year more than 1.8-million free entrées were given to customers dressed  as cows. The Cow Appreciation Day Celebration lasts from opening  through 7pm local time (check local store listings for individual  hours).
