Kelly Clarkson recently revealed that she's lost a whopping 37 pounds without exercising. The 36-year-old mother of two credited her slimmed-down figure to Dr. Steven Gundry's book The Plant Paradox.
Gundry tells Entertainment Tonight that he encourages Clarkson to steer clear of wheat and to eat a handful of nuts daily. He also holds a controversial belief: that people should skip breakfast.
"It's actually the least important meal of the day," he declares. "Do you think our ancestors crawled out of our cave and said, 'What's for breakfast?' There wasn't any breakfast. There wasn't any storage system.
We had to find breakfast and maybe that was lunch when we broke fast. That's what breakfast means."
