On Sunday morning in Massachusetts, a loose Doberman was spotted running around Interstate 291. Several troopers responded by slowing down traffic, while Trooper Corey Brown whipped out a pink teddy bear and tossed it into a patch of grass on the side the road.
The dog responded by chasing the bear and grabbing it, at which point Brown got it to sit before getting it into his cruiser and returning it to its owners. "Perhaps all police vehicles should be equipped with dog toys and treats, just in case," one Facebook commentator wrote in response to Brown's rescue, which was first reported by MassLive.
