Walmart is pitching in to help with recovery efforts following the devastation Hurricane Dorian left behind in North Carolina, South Carolina, and the Bahamas. Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Walmart.org are donating $500,000 to organizations including the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army to help those affected by the deadly hurricane.

“Our customers and associates in North and South Carolina have experienced the impacts of this storm,” says Julie Gehrki, vice president of philanthropy at Walmart. “And our hearts go out to the people of the Bahamas and the devastation they are facing there.”
